RUBY - LABRADOODLE

PROBLEM - HIGHLY BOISTEROUS, JUMPS UP, POOR RECALL

RUBYMark rang me for help with their 8 month old Labradoodle bitch who had a wonderful nature but was pretty manic indoors and not much better outdoors.

She would jump up at visitors and also strangers whilst out on walks and was also not averse to a bit of food stealing in the kitchen!

She would often pull on the lead towards other dogs and people (in a friendly way) and her recall was very hit and miss, with Ruby coming back if she felt like it!

Mark a GP and his wife Kay have a busy household with three teenage daughters, so I attended and gave them a formal action plan to follow, with it being essential that they all remain consistent.

So far, so good as Mark reports below,

"Thanks Peter, I am really astonished at the improvements already. I wish I could use human psychology as effectively at work! I am looking forward to doing more lead work as she seems much more responsive, more intelligent and anxious to please.
Thanks very much."
Mark.
